I spent a bit of time in Bath yesterday (07-Sep-2026) and saw some of the E100EVs and E200EVs out and about. Among the ones I saw was 43001 which was in the bus station with its displays showing for the next D2x departure to Frome: I believe it made an appearance on a D1 earlier this week on which route I heard on a FB group it gave a good run.
I think the new E100s are excellent. Air conditioning is good and they don't feel as cramped as the Optares. The only issue is that I think they should have ordered more to completely replace the Optares.
The plan is to replace the Optares AFAIK - just waiting for the e200ev to arrive.
I don't think the white Optare is going. There's no way the 5 E100s can cover the 6/6a/7/8 with no hiccups.
The PVR is 4 so that is the plan, as I understood it. The 1 and 2 that see e100ev/Solos on occasion will be e200ev.
But if 2 E100s are out of service then you'll need that spare Optare. That's why the White one is staying?
So I see though I think the Citylines East red ones have worn the worst. That said, judging by the photo on bustimes, there might be one of those getting painted soon!
That's true - I was just thinking of the dull redI'd trump the Citylines East ones with the few that are left in what was Citylines 73 green. The miscoloured panels are rife...
I was very surprised to see that there's 2 enviro200 evs on the 2 today. What's their length compared to the 67xxx buses.
Not sure, they look similar in length I think. Turning circle is probably a lot better. The 67xxx are interesting to say the least on that front. I have seen one venture on the 1 once which I thought was very brave!
Well turns out 67093 has ventured out onto the 1!
43003 was on the D1 to Trowbridge this evening, spotted it in Bradford on Avon, so seems they are happy to operate further afield
43001 has already visited Warminster, and one board does the early Frome run

I have no clue why they are swapping, I'm guessing 39133-5 will be next to go over or have probably gone over today. 33791 and 33960 haven't been out so maybe they might be going over to Bath.
They do seem to appear on random routes, today 43007 is on D1 to Warminster
They’re commonly on D1 and D2. More oddly, a pair were working the 2 to Foxhill on Thursday.
