Merseytravel have also lovingly confirmed on X that they are continuing to push hard on the numpty county borders for ticketing. Despite the buses being part of the Metro network, Solo and other Merseytravel products (MyTicket excluded) will will not be valid over the county borders INCLUDING Merseyside to Merseyside journeys which cross the border then crosses back (ie the X3 and 37/X37).
So much for progress and bringing things into public control.
