Pendolinos were regular visitors to Holyhead and North Wales for many years, dragged by locomotives.
Seeing a 755 say Saxmundham at Norwich was an odd sight, though I didn't know that there is (or was) an Ipswich to Saxmundham service in the morning, so it has a reason to exist. Now been replaced with the somewhat silly Ipswich to Norwich via Beccles & Lowestoft service.

Back in 2017, I got a picture of 158813 at Norwich showing the destination of Keith. The previous service it had worked was from Lowestoft when Greater Anglia borrowed an East Midlands 158 in the morning.
I saw a 345 passing Leighton Buzzard with Crewe as its destination on Thursday.

Guessing the Azuma’s don’t have Bedford programmed given the paper destination cards today
The Avanti 17:16 Euston - Crewe runs via Birmingham, Bescot, Wolverhampton, Stafford, and Stoke. It's scheduled to stand in Crewe Up & Down Pottery Loop 20:28 - 20:35 awaiting a path into the station. (It usually uses platform 12, so needs to cross the entire station throat).
After leaving Stoke, the on board PIS shows "Crewe Up & Down" as the next station.

Reminds me of the times I've seen "Platform TL" on an information screen, as well as an automatic announcement saying "The train now approaching platform TL does not stop here".

Logistically how massive a task is it to add a destination onto every Azuma's screen list?
Quite a long one that Hitachi will charge you an arm and a leg for, GWR had Euston and Waterloo added months before we actually went to Euston both were added as at the time it wasn’t confirmed where we were going so better to have both than none

Might have already been mentioned but I remember someone saying EMR (or EMT) sprinters had Ashby-de-la-Zouch programmed in for the proposed Ivanhoe line service
I'm curious why the other timing points and destination weren't named if Temple Mills East Jn is.

Although many (perhaps most or even all) of the diagrams for services to Lowestoft actually run Ipswich - Lowestoft - Norwich or vice versa so there is little difference in practical terms whether they are labelled Ipswich - Norwich (via Lowestoft) or Ipswich - Lowestoft and then relabelled. Similarly, the Lowestoft <> Harwich services and new Lowestoft <> Cambridge services are more about 'image' and gleaning a few more £ from publicly 'joining up' stages of the working diagrams
The benefit is a guaranteed connection, where a service not advertised as a "through" service could be subject to a unit/platform change without notice to the passengers on board.
I do agree that there is little difference though. Every other East Suffolk service is advertised as terminating at Lowestoft, so why is this one unique? Is it just to confuse the few passengers who want to travel from Ipswich to Norwich at that time?
Then again, having the service "terminate" at Saxmundham before was also very arbitrary and strange, especially as it continued onwards as a SAX to LWT service anyway!

Agreed, although I doubt there is much call from LWT passengers for travel to Cambridge or Harwich, (or, indeed, Ipswich or Woodbridge to Somerleyton or Reedham) especially at the times involved.
The time involves is useful for the Hoek van Holland ferry (arriving fifty minutes before check-in closes), but from Lowestoft alone, or even from Ipswich (one change at Manningtree and I think a direct service from Cambridge), likely still not a massive market.
I think it's a data error, with an unadvertised operational stop incorrectly coded as a passenger stop.
Why does it cost so much and why does it seem so hard just to add destinations into every Azuma in the fleet? I know that on buses it can be done in minutes and some destinations can be updated back at depot while the bus is on the road and sent to the bus wirelessly online.

I am not sure if this breaks The International Statute of Secrecy or you muggles are aware of magic and so are covered by me saying this, but tomorrow the PIS will show HOGWARTS on a few trains at London King's Cross as my fellow magicals travel to school... Surely an unusual destination

On a couple of occasions now, I've seen the LNWR class 350 Manchester Airport trains (route learning?) displaying 'Special Train' on arrival into Crewe.
