Any update on the timetable changes for pronto yet?
I think any delays and diversions to the Pronto during the next week will be very ad hoc and unplanned as potholes are repaired and sections of the road are resurfaced. There have been evening diversions after 8pm during the last couple of weeks.Any update on the timetable changes for pronto yet?
I saw that 141 was diverted this AM, but when I drove through Linby at lunchtime there was no evidence of a closure and buses seemed to be back on route. Prontos was diverted on Monday due to a closure between Blidworth Waye (141 not affected) and Kighill Lane. Pronto was going via Longdale Lane and Kighill Lane. Three s/b were caught up at Blidworth Waye for some time before being turned and returned to Newstead Abbey Gates up to 40 mins. late. There also were delays on the 141 today when the road between Papplewick and Linby was closed for around 3 hours. They could have taken a shorter diversion by cutting through the Vaughan Estate between Linby and Papplewick Lane which avoids going through parts of Hucknall twice with the traffic hold ups. Trent Barton used to do that when they were diverted but perhaps Stagecoach drivers do not know they can get through there. It is a regular bus route for the Trent Barton 35 so no problems running a bus that way.
There’s also quite a bit of work planned on the A60 this next week between Ravenshead and Redhill and so the Pronto may be subject to delays and diversions.
