Yes, that's definitely a well looked-after 'beauty'.
Having seen plenty of them on my trips to the USA, a bonneted six-wheeler with it's chrome reflecting the sun definitely has a certain 'presence' in your rear-view mirror...

Other makes - Freightliner springs to mind - seem to lack the road-presence.
The International I photo'd, locally in south Hampshire, had to negotiate some very tight residential roads and parked cars...

Oh, I went to Whitby Steam Rally on 1st August 2026 - and was slightly surprised at how many "Commercials" were lined up, a lotv more than I imagined would be entered.

when I've sorted them out with titles / captions etc. I mostly look at the older vehicles.
Can't remember off-hand whether I took an individual shot of the Peterbilt that was there.

That’s funny. I was passing Dawlish Warren on the train earlier and the grotty fair had a Foden parked up with a generator behind the cab.
You definitely don’t see many around these days.

Foden, ERF, Seddon Atkinson. They all seem to be "blink and missed it" marques.
Volvo, Scania and MAN 1980s / 1990s era trucks still make occasionsl appearances here on the south coast.
