nobody seems to know what’s going on tbf. Whether anything will go anywhere for a week or so whilst they bed in. However we are very short of space in Foster St, so with the other electrics coming back from Scunthorpe something will have to give.

In terms of scrap, 22s and the early 19s will be gone I’d imagine. They’re the only ones not fitted with NSA’s which is probably the giveaway

Stuff will leave just don’t know if it’ll be straight away. We’re managing at the moment and not dropping runs due to shortage but obviously no schools/colleges to contend with

Its a similar situation across the patch I think. The old stuff needs to go fast.

On another note, 10819 delivered from Gillmoss to Worksop is now due to go to Lincoln.

I heard that Lincoln was due a pride bus for Lincoln Pride, which is happening Saturday, August 15, 2026, so maybe it's only at the workshop so it can be updated into the new pride livery.

Yeah if I were to guess I’d imagine 22s will go for scrap along with the early 19s.
Not sure where that leaves 19541/64 I’d imagine to scunny or somewhere. Think we will keep our 24/27/28’s. Unsure on midis as the 60’s can do the routes we use 36/37s on.

However feel like we will lose 107s and 19 plate 11s but again that’s just what I feel nothing is concrete

I believe EV launch is this afternoon at MKM

Also EV deckers will only be on 3/5/12 daytime as they interwork other routes of a night apparently

I’m not sure if this is the right thread for this, but has anything been done to hull interchange yet to allow the e400ev to fit
Stands 1 to 4 be used for Electric Deckers

Seems rather short notice this doesnt it, who will know when or what it is unless they happened to pass by Anlaby Road today? You'd think they'd announce it sooner somewhere

Anyway, I believe as of rn (till the boards change next month this is) that the 3/5 inter work at night already however the 12 doesn't, it usually does the random interworks.

And what happened to the 13 getting E400EVs then, the EV Hull article said they were gonna be 3, 5, 12 and 13.

Maybe not enough E400EVs to go around or not as profitable/important?

I would expect the event is more of a media event. They have already had some more public events anyway with the clean air day event and the Priory Park electric event.

I dont know I think only James Taylor works at depot on here

Private event for media and local dignitaries ect.

Work will be done to interchange but isn’t ready yet. Directors came last week and pretty much said sort a plan out, we need them on the road.

We will require banks man for reversing on 1&2 as it is blind to incoming vehicles.

So initially they are just to be used on 3,5,12 whilst they get stuff sorted

No idea but they were wanting banksman to do a 1400-2400 shift so must be out
They would still need them if they are using electrics or diesels. As the bays are the same either way so would need the help reversing due to being hard to see the traffic coming into interchange.

This weeks N&P (northern TA) includes the application for a new Mansfield depot whilst Sutton Road is rebuilt. It’s for 87 vehicles and is to be at Concord Way at Bull Farm, just off the Chesterfield Road.

I’m wondering whether they are still partially demolishing the site piece by piece, or if they have moved on to completely demolishing it all at once.

They are also requesting space for 87 vehicles. However, according to Bustimes.org, there are currently around 84 vehicles (excluding branded vehicles and 37001, as it has been scrapped). This makes me wonder if we will be receiving additional buses, especially since around 8 buses are likely to be scrapped within the next month or two.

If that happens, it seems like we may actually be gaining more buses than we are losing. Either way, it’s nice to see that they finally have a proper site. :D

On a side note, does anyone know what happened to 10469 (SN65 OBB)? It has been off the road for nearly a month now, and it didn’t complete all of its scheduled trips on the day it was last in service.

I would assume based on that data that it broke and is undergoing repair, could be a lengthy one knowing MMCs track record

Post 278 mentioned a possible transfer of 10882-88 from Birkenhead when the depot closes/
Well Rock Ferry (Birkenhead) is not closing as it retains non franchised route 1 (Liverpool-Chester) and some contracts in the Merseyside area. It is also an engineering base and has a paint shop. The depot is I think the last remaining Crosville Motor Services depot on Merseyside.
Iwould imagine that 10882-88 will remain at Rock Ferry after franchising as 10882 has recently received MCSLs cherised number plate VKB708 from an older transferred out bus. The plate originated on a ;iverpool Corporation bus.

I believe 10882-8 were meant to initially come but plans do change

== Doublepost prevention - post automatically merged: ==

I been informed

E400s 19045, 19146, 19175, 19211, 19230, 19233, 19234, 19240, 19243, 19307, 19308, 19377, 19379 and 19382 have ran there last services at Hull

Also the remaining MAN E300s 22639, 22757, 22759, 22774, 22776, 22778, 22796, 22797 and 22877 may also have ran there last services (24s that are being displaced by MMCs are due to come back to Hull apparently)

Also a comment by a depot staff member on a recent photo of 19377 on a Stagecoach Enthusiast facebook page says its done at Hull

But like anything plans change and with the new EVs from tommorow most or all of these could stay longer if any faults arise with EVs also cant see 19307/8 and 19377 going anywhere really as 2 should be needed for consortium anf 19377 id heritage liveried

I dont know for deffinate if they have gone or going just the information I have recieved

I would assume then with those E400s potentially never running again, they would be driven to Scunthorpe today to swap them with the E400 EVs in storage there.

Would the 24xxxs be swapping with the 26xxxs at Grimsby then? (would be intrigued to see what else as that could be 17 buses being replaced by only 9)
