Thank you for this list, it appears to confirm all of my assumptions. There is another STP 5X95 to Bournemouth planned for next Friday

This is in addition to the regular Monday WTT 5X95 path although I don't think the Monday train often runs? The fact that someone has created an STP path for Friday would suggest that it is more likely to run, although whether or not the Q path will be activated is a different matter.

I don't know what the depot capacity is at Bournemouth, but presumably at some point in their run down 458/4s will have to be held in warm store at other locations.

Bournemouth held the lion's share of the unused 442s for a while, so I guess there is still a bit of space.

A lot depends on current depot throughput, order of arrivals, maintenance (CET), cleaning etc prior to stabling and departure order (times) next day, but reference the latest base plan CWN as per the SWR website and the number of 444/450's working out of there each SX day (excluding any maintenance spare units of same classes that may also be held there), the current tally of eight x 458 can be accommodated on two roads, and likely there is still space for another eight, before things start to become a tad tight.

But this is based on how the depot was over a decade ago, so my knowledge of same may be out of date?

I’ll do my best to see as it gets closer to Bournemouth.

Thank goodness 458411 has gone for now. Always detested getting that unit on a Weybridge with its traction packages out.

Always seemed to follow me like a bad smell :D :D

Does any one know if 5X95 has left Wimbledo Park anonyously today? I cant find on either RTT or Traksy!

Any information will be appreciated.

Likewise, I have not spotted any evidence of 5X95 running. Possibly related to an extra pair of 458/4s covering for a 701 this morning, which may just be a coincidence?

Not really. I only one is the main entrance gate which has limited vision and not close enough to identify individual units.

If anybody knows any good locations please let me know.

458401 returned to service 05.05.26
458410 has been out of service since 05.02.26

14 units in service today (1 pair covering for a 701)
458402,404,405,409,412-415,420,421,424,426-428

Another 3 units have been in service within the last two days
458401,408,423

Aside from the 8 units at Bournemouth, that leaves 3 units and their last in service dates was
458403 02.06.26 possibly in warm store?
458407 01.06.26 possibly in warm store?
458410 05.02.26 failed at Brentford on 2V51

The was a planned STP 5X95 to Bournemouth last Friday which did not appear to run. The fact that 5X95 was planned to run implies that another pair were planned to go in to warm store at Bournemouth. I suspect that pair was 458403 + 458407 but are in warm store at Wimbledon rather than Bournemouth. I stress that I do not know that as a fact. The next STP 5X95 to Bournemouth is planned for tomorrow. If it runs and past precedence is anything to go by, that may involve units currently in service today.

That leaves just 18 in traffic. Is a weekly move of these units likely to become a regular thing? Is there room at Bournemouth for all 28 units?

Is there a 5X95 to Bournemouth tomorrow? Can’t see any sign of it on RTT.
Yes

There is also an STP 5X95 loaded for next Friday

Whether they run is another matter.
