This is more or less what I experienced, I was asked to expand on my answer, she was looking for a particular word or phrase, I never got there. Thinking about it logically the whole question was built around that one thing she wanted.

I've asked lots of questions on here and had excellent replies. Not once has anyone been rude or condescending.
Sometimes I think It's 'what you ask' it looks lazy and can't be arsed. I like to think I research what I can by myself and if something is bugging or I'm unsure, then I will ask.
I...
Not been on here for a good while, I failed the MMI over 18 months ago and the feedback I received at the time was very specific unlike some.
Unfortunately as much as people say they might not be looking for specific words etc I was told that out of six questions, I gave excellent answers to...
TBH, and this is not a dig at you Jamieson because there's another thread elsewhere about job vacancies. If anyone can't be bothered looking at TOC and FOC websites themselves then it smacks of laziness to me.
I check daily the ones I'm closest to, have seen job ads early morning and applied...
Same here Joof, three depots and the furthest away is exactly 30 miles door to door and all three are majority motorway routes.
I hope it's a mistake and you're in under 60 minutes.
These vacancies were up yesterday, I noticed the 45 minute rule for being near the depot and If you aren't relocation will not be considered, 45 minutes also cuts me out of the three depots nearest to me, two of them by one minute according to google maps.:roll:
Boddington's.....sadly.....has definitely gone, All that remains is a car park which serves the MEN, and the thousands of shops on Bury New Rd that sell snide designer gear.
What about the thousands of people who have failed the assessment's under the two strikes and you're out rule, only to be allowed a reset to zero under the new assessment's.
Why let those people sit the assessment's again or has the bar dropped regarding train driver recruitment ??
I sympathise with you Whatapratt, a golden opportunity for one of the most sought after jobs there currently is. You have to do what's right and if I was in HR I would be thinking that your a honest genuine man who puts his family first.
The way I understand it is, although the two stages are separate if you fail any part of it then that's one life lost, you can try again anytime even ten years later as long as you've only failed the once but if you fail again then you're finished for good......unless they change the...
I think it just depends on the TOC mate, from what I've read on here one TOC might accept the results, another might just ask you to resit the lot. It all seems reasonably open to interpretation TOC to TOC, best bet is apply when the date comes and then contact HR and ask them, they're the only...
When I did the tests in January the woman from the OPC stressed numerous times that if you fail the assessments today you will NOT be able to apply for any other TOC within the next six months, she even said that if you do apply the TOC checks with the OPC before the sift and you will not get...
