True but I don’t think they ever will be. The older batch that were new for the 16 & 97 in 2007 have hit 18 years service. These ones seem to be fairing better than the newer batch as well atm.
Strange to think they are older than 1613 was on the final running day back in 2015.
What will also...
I wouldn’t be surprised if all the tridents Gemini OmniLinks were gone by the end of October.
Still remains to be seen whether there is a final running day event like 2010 & 2015 for these types.
If so they could hold one or 2 back (for use on schools maybe) in the meantime
I think that 2030 date was never going to happen again. More likely date for West Midlands probably being around 2035 when the 75XX platinums reach life expiry
Wonder what the 110 will look like post franchising? Will it be contracted out by TFWM/WMCA? And to whom with what vehicles
North Birmingham due to be franchised from 2027 so should happen within the next 24 months
4477 now withdrawn, as well as 4611, 4688, 7019. Any of these older vehicles that need money spending on them are withdrawn I believe
Oldest numerically in service is now 4479 & just 5 of the 70XX scanias left now
Saturday timetables in place over Christmas, so they probably won’t be out till January now.
Also NX have lost the WN 25, AG 73, PN 19, CV 24/25/85 from the start of the month. So maybe a few more scanias will go.
They’re only used Monday-Friday daytimes. No weekends or late nights.
Saturdays are 47XX/48XX/67XX, Sundays on the 51 is 67XX only normally.
Also I think out of about 20 they only use like 8 of them a day.
LN69ORC (which was on the 15 on Tuesday) at Diamond has yet to have them as well and that is a 69 plate.
Not sure if Diamond intend to keep these mellors long term?
There’s that N1/N2 service Diamond Redditch run in Stratford too. They took the service when they acquired Johnsons.
Looks to run for an insurance company -NFU Mutual.
The only routes at CV that need single decks are the 20B and 24/25, It was said the 20B terminus can easily be changed & the 24/25 tenders will end at the end of the year. So NXC will be fully double deck.
There’s no way a Black Country depot would run routes into Coventry

it was said Perry Barr are going to get electroliners eventually & BYDs will move over to Coventry to replace B7RLE. Coventry likely to go fully double deck like Birmingham Central.
Rotala have some custom dennings 1 at Tividale, 3 temporarily operating out of Kidderminster on the 242 & will...
The 1 Kidderminster to Rifle Range always feels really short and it has a big layover between every round trip in the bus station.
It’s scheduled time 9 minutes to Rifle Range, 12 minutes back.
Normally a big empty B7RLE too. In the term time the B7 is needed for Wolverley School 829 service...
