Lot of work going on at site of Pill station. Took about 15 minutes for all the machinery to be moved to allow the new class 99s being collected from Portbury Docks to pass.
Just cycled from Portishead to Pill the majority of the track has been removed on the Portishead side of the M5 although most is still in place on the Pill side. Work going on one of the bridges into Portbury Dock
Notices have now gone up in Portishead on the roads near the site of the station, saying work will start in the second week in April and will take 18 months which should take us till October 2027.

Anyone know what this train is that is sat at Bromsgrove. According to my daughter it's been there for 2 hours plus and seems to be annoying the local residents as the engine has been kept running. I can't find any reference on Real Time trains.
There has been a lot of work, which finished on Friday, clearing the area between Quays Avenue and Sainsbury's in Portishead, again for a work's compound.
