    I have just checked the grand central website, for next Saturday as it is a strike day, I was surprised to see the trains were starting at St Peter's metro station instead of Sunderland station. Is this the first time that it has happened.

    My elderly father and brother are traveling to Bristol on Glastonbury weekend, I saw a advert for easyJet , they were offering Newcastle to Bristol for £20 each, I thought that would be slighty better than a overcrowded voyager.

    The ticket restrictions were on the TPE booking system, but I went on the LNER website , it clearly states all the tickets including the advance fares are inclusive.

    I apologise if this has been discussed before, but I was browsing to buy first class tickets with LNER. I was reading the t and c,s when I read you weren't allowed in the first class lounge, although not a frequent traveler, but the last time I traveled last year you were allowed to use them.

    Managed to get 2 return trips to hull,and a hull to scarbados, for 80p,and a couple of cheap advance tickets for Darlington to York. Grand total£23-80. And also two singles from Nottingham to Leeds, already got tickets but if I fancy a lie in. Bases covered.

    I have had my seat reservation ripped up my a member of station staff with no apology.

    I was lucky got Leeds to Carlisle 20p return,then another slice of luck was a£25 voucher off TPE. A bargain at £7-20 which includes a first class leg.
