In my opinion, the test isn't just about passing the task. It's can you listen to instruction and complete the task as instructed. They would've made it very clear it was a timed task and you failed to pick that up, which is why you failed.

Cambridge. Started applying for jobs on 2018 and applied with XC in 2023 so been a long time coming. Andy said I was top of the list for Cambridge but they didn't need any drivers so was a long wait. Good luck to the rest of you

I'm also in the Cambridge pool and was offered a place on a course in June24, which I regrettably couldn't accept, so they've not taken anyone since last June.

Is the 32k after the initial rules course?

I just heard back from Andy Page. He said there are further courses planned for March, June and July but he doesn't know the depot allocations yet. This is in addition to the January course which isn't for Cambridge depot (I'm in the talent pool for Cambridge).

I was going to put it to them that if they could give me an update I'll put it on the forum for others to see. Must be easier then having multiple people message them

Has anyone got any contact details for XC recruitment? I was told (as it sounds like some others were) that there are courses planned for early 2025 (Cambridge) and it'd be good to know if that's still the case and maybe any rough dates, given that you need to put your life on hold for a year...

Does anyone know what stage in the process we're at? Can't remember if I've done OPC stages for this yet or if that's after DMI

Yeah there may be some truth in that but I left booking it a couple days and this was the last day that was available at Welwyn depot and didn't fancy traveling to hornsey. Been waiting since January so hopefully a couple more weeks won't make any difference
