I have been away from the forum for a while, and have naturally lost track of what is going on with the Crossrail 2, or the new/underground section of the Elizabeth line. What is the current status of it? Is it operating yet, or, when is it expected to open at?

Is it possible to use stock from other lines to operate on the Jubilee line as an emergency measure?
