Don't over think it too much. You aren't supposed to be perfect on the test.

Cycles at Stations: Red Rear Light Safety Risk?

I have never had an issue when explaining this to someone. Most people just have no idea, once explained they are keen to turn their lights off going forward, it's on you to comply and isn't something very difficult to do...

West Midlands Trains (inc. LNWR) - Trainee Driver - Recruitment Discussion

You should only have to resit what you haven't passed (IE the MMI) or any other tests WMT may use that GTR does not (I'm not aware if there are any)

It's a lot of situational based stuff, name a time where you did this/that (star method) Obviously brush up on the company. And be yourself, mine was very relaxed.

I would guess they would already be familiar with you at the next interview already, wouldn't they?

Seems like they had lots pass SHL and are only taking the top scorers. Congratulations to any getting though to next stage.

I don't think there is any issue being in multiple talent pools with different TOCs. Wmt only state one application per depot with them, they have no control on what you do with other companies.

Could railway shift work be improved or made more gradual?

I always struggle to get to bed earlier if I'm on an early and a lot of the time just seem to lie there awake and not tired... Any tips? I know blackout curtains are recommended.

Thanks, makes me feel a bit better about my shifts! I wouldn't fancy those...

What kind of shifts are people referring to as "nights"?

Would be a classic how long is a piece of string question. Would differ completely due to depot size and the specific need per depot per recruitment drive.

I'm not sure to be honest that might be TOC specific. Best to check with them, however I think they expect you to be able to get to work within the time frame without relying on public transport.
