Level Crossing Barriers struck at Berwick (Sussex) again

Goodness me that is appalling. Luckily it looks like it was the stopping Brighton service going through just after rather than the fast trains.

Level Crossing Barriers struck at Berwick (Sussex) again

Another suspension between Lewes and Eastbourne due to the barriers struck in the Berwick area. Lots of lost souls at Eastbourne trying to cram onto the 12,12X and 12A’s at the bus stop opposite the station. “A road vehicle colliding with the barriers at a level crossing between Lewes and...

Major disruption on lines out of Waterloo (15/05)

“Due to large scale disruption across the South Western Railway network customers are authorised to source their own taxi and claim them back through the customer services team between London Waterloo and Basingstoke.” Not a nice evening. Thoughts to everyone involved and hope the incident was...

Trolley Struck by Train in Derby Area 10/05

There was a bike chucked onto the East Grinstead line yesterday killing the evening timetable dead. These individuals are putting hundreds of lives at risk with this crazy behaviour, not to mention a lot of money for Network Rail repairing damaged signalling systems and the power supply.

Network Rail signal failure Richmond branch on consecutive days.

Second day in a row nothing from Turnham Green to Richmond and no Overground Gunnersbury to Richmond in the afternoon due to a signal failure. What is causing repetitive issues on that branch. It was suspended for over four hours yesterday. London Overground: No service between Gunnersbury...

    What exactly did Thatcher do?

A country that’s even worse in decline now since this post was made! I don’t think we will ever see a PM like Thatcher again. On the flip side, another Truss type PM will sink the country into oblivion. Look at the damage she did in 49 days which we are still paying for today!

    What exactly did Thatcher do?

The one thing we can all probably agree on was that Mrs Thatcher was decisive, but divisive. Just like marmite, you either loved her or hated her. I wonder what state the country would be in if she were PM at this present moment today.

    What exactly did Thatcher do?

Mrs Thatcher was keen internally to fully privatise the NHS… Then again, she was keen for everybody to go private anyway for health care.

    What exactly did Thatcher do?

Unfortunately Thatcherism is here to stay.

2024 Local, Mayoral and PCC Elections

    Where’s Mr Galloway this evening?

2024 Local, Mayoral and PCC Elections

Or they’ll all start to vote for Mr Galloway and his party….

2024 Local, Mayoral and PCC Elections

Mr Galloway will be turfed out at the election anyway so nothing to worry about there on that front!

2024 Local, Mayoral and PCC Elections

A Tory Wipeout looks a certainty at the next election if the pattern of the locals continue. Sunak has to go. I would say he is less popular than Thatcher was to most ordinary folk.

    What exactly did Thatcher do?

Then we had Mr Major, who was very keen to remove Mrs Thatcher from power.. The Thatcher legacy still coarses through society today, and given the mess Thames Water is in thanks to her privatisation mantra ideology, we have not and will not recover in our lifetime.

    What exactly did Thatcher do?

Absolutely…. If you were well off then Mrs Thatcher was the perfect PM for you. If you weren’t, then it was a real struggle for survival. We nearly lost our home thanks to the policies of Thatcher and the carnage she caused.
