Oh dear.....right in the middle of Engineering works between Retford/Peterborough necessitating diversions all day Saturday 28/2 and thr morning of March 1st. Enjoy!
Seems like northbound trains over the day and a half Engineering possession commencing with Kings Cross to Edinburgh service 1S07 booked to pass SLR 08h17 with last train of the day being 1D32 Kings Cross to Leeds, passing at 20h59.

I think the answer lies in RTT....There was a Tamper movement very early this morning (Thursday) from Heckington to Sleaford Tamper siding (yes! one exists!) with said tamper arriving at SLR 05h40.

Ahhh....remembering the oh so happy days turning in 12 hour shifts at Rogerstone North box back in the mid 60's.
Very busy those days of course with coal for the adjacent power station plus sidings and bits and bobs.
I didn't know what route it would take through/bypass Sleaford, so I stationed myself at Ruskington where I enjoyed the unit passing at some speed!
RTT is very unclear on routeings through/via SLR...the same thing happened with the Middleton/Goole Sand train.
Real Time Trains (RTT) is reporting the KGX departure @ 07h17 this morning of an Edinburgh service passing through Sleaford at 0900. Is this another Ghost Train that occasionally appears on this programme?
That would be the down line. Shrubbery, Weeds and other fast growing vegetation abounded.
The up line remained open however and was very useful and used extensively during ECML blockades.

The closure of the Sleaford East LC, and the design/erection of the new footbridge to compensate is still undecided.
This is all tied up with the redevelopment of Sleaford South which includes a new road traffic overbridge close to the long...
