More or less the same thing happened last year. Apart from the process leading upto assessments was slightly different. We all sat a test in Manchester and was told those who passed would be invited for stage 1 of assessments. I already had a pass with DB schenker and so I was hopefully skipping...

I attended an assessment day last week for a position in Leeds ( unsuccessfully!) so it might be that they are waiting on a few more trainee's before they start the course.

I did contact them in January before this round of adverts and didn't get a reply. Last year was different and we sat tests in Manchester. The highest scores were then invited through to the psychometrics, no telephone interviews last year. I passed all the old tests in 2011 with DBS

Good luck, I've still not had any further emails & it looks like I'm in exactly the same situation as this time last year. My 2013 application still says passed assessment :(

I applied for Man Pic and My last email was saying I'd passed the telephone interview :(

I had a request for my CV (despite handing one in on the day) as I also filled out a form for planner. That was 3 weeks ago; I've since emailed to check they had received it without a response. I've heard nothing about trainee tram drivers positions :-(

There could be quite a lot if truth in what he says. They can afford to cream the crop when so many applied. I just been offered a bus position with First and if I need 95% for a train position it looks like I'll be on the buses for a while!!

Oh no! :( gutted for you. To get even this far to be let down like that is devastating

When I booked mine the last available date was the 13th March! So who knows when it will end and we can think about the next stage
