It's interesting timing, coinciding with the £2 fare cap introduction nationally. Since GMCA are funding their own £2 cap already, I would assume this means they would have some extra money to spend on busses from January.

I think it’s better to focus on having more padding at the start and end of journeys, so at least one delayed service doesn’t delay the next, while journeys are faster when there are few traffic issues. This also gives drivers more opportunity to have a break and rest, which is really important.

Thousands of cyclists use the oxford road cycle lanes every day. There is a counter if you want to look it up. And yes most do use the cycle lanes. Some don’t that are going faster, but it’s a 20mph limit, so I don’t see the problem.
