323226 suffered a seized axle yesterday, and appears to have caused a bit of damage to the unit. It's currently waiting to a Wheel Skate on PLT 1 at Manchester Oxford Rd, to either Allerton, Ardwick or Longsight

Its 323s on Saturdays. During the week its booked as 331/1

I like the new feature, where if you've got Rail Miles, the unit allocation show up in green if you 'require' the unit

Will have passed the last signal, therefore showing as "arrived" at Piccadilly

Manchester Oxford Road(1,2,3,4 in the up direction) and Manchester Piccadilly(13 and 14 in both directions)

Platforms 13/14 are still open for passenger use, but only 3tph will start/terminate at Piccadilly.

An honorable mention for Manchester United Football Halt, which required Dispatch Staff when its was served by trains. Don't remember the station usage numbers, but it must have been around hovering around 20000 per year.

Not too bad loading wise, but the fact both the xx43 fast and the xx48 slow are mostly timetabled at the same platform, at Piccadilly, does cause lot of confusion. If you board as it arrives in you more likely to get a descent seat, before everyone get sorted onto the right train.

Avanti have introduced a 22:14 departure from Piccadilly to Euston, arriving at 01:13. Interestingly, the departures from Manchester now depart 1 minute earlier on the public TT, compared the the current TT. The exception is the 0700 Piccadilly-Euston

It appears that Northern are going to take over East Midlands's slots over the August block. Two services in the morning starting at Liverpool Lime Street, with the rest starting at Piccadilly, non stop Piccadilly to Sheffield.

Didn't last long, as it's developed a fault before working the 0830 Manchester Piccadilly-Huddersfield. It's gone back on to Ardwick

The failure was at Buxton. I believe Network Rail found quite considerable damage which took several hours to fix

I wonder if there is a lack of Drivers who sign the route. There been route refresh paths in the timetable since December, and I believe they haven't been used once yet
