Non Multiple sign in cab window

There is an issue with the auto coupler and the unit must not couple up to another unit at the end with the non-multi sticker applied. There can be many reasons what the problem is, it is so that an incoming driver does not couple up if his diagram has one on it. The unit should be okay to...

    Class 318 refurb thread

There are some other components replaced in a C6 exam, it's not just a repaint. It is likely that a refurbished component is giving issues and require to be resolved before heading home.

    Class 380

Yeah, you are correct. I started to think of how the 334 does it and got confused (although they are named differently). I really should read my posts after writing them! My apologies.

    Class 314 New Destination Blinds

It was done before the Paisley Canal line was electrified as they now have Paisley Canal on them. I am pretty sure they also have East Kilbride on them as well now. I will try and confirm ASAP. --- old post above --- --- new post below --- Airdrie, Anderston, Ardrossan Harbour, Ardrossan...

Class 320 refurb - two different toilet designs?

The 4 car 380's have a manual sliding toilet door in the TOSL coach, perhaps this you were thinking of?

Clunk and Loud Noise - EMU's

The first one sounds like the battery charger and transformer pump cutting out and then restarting when the VCB trips during a neutral section. If it is OLE.

    Buggies, luggage and bicycles

Hmm, still haven't answered the point I was making; is a mother supposed to leave her infant alone whilst she man-handles a 'perfectly manageable' folded buggy into a safe position on the train? Have you never had something you had to go out for during a time you know is going to be inconvenient...

    Selfish trainspotters

Things like this usually ends up in fisticuffs which then forces the railway to react and possibly ban the activity. It is supposed to be enjoyable for those that want to do it!

    Buggies, luggage and bicycles

Well lets see: One, some prams don't fold down much more, they retain the same footprint yet at a lower height. Two, prams that do fold down often split into two pieces meaning 3 trips on and off a train i.e. folded wheel section on board, folded baby compartment put on board, oh, baby...
