I work part time now as opposed to full time.
I do same 3 shifts 3x10hrs.
I think depends on your toc and wether it fits in with their business plan etc as to getting an agreement from them
My preference is to return, but currently have days when I struggle to face it.
I've been surprised by my reaction to all this, it's not how I seen myself dealing with an incident like this..
I am a driver currently off sick due to a fatality.
It's been 6 months now and after councilling etc I find myself in the position of deciding whether to go back into the driving seat or not.
The Toc I work for have been great regarding support etc, and redeployment is also an option.

That's a fairly good breakdown of both sides of the coin. I'm thinking of dropping to 30 hrs. It is health related, plus a lifetime of shifts has burnt me out I think.
1st time for me.
Lucky I guess, however I had the transferable skills that I new would appeal.
20 years working in control room of a secure hospital. Thinking on my feet, dealing with suicide, safety critical comms etc....
