if you check the TfL website, i believe there's a revenue inspector job on there if that appeals, although i think that the majority of the job is bus related with underground as & when required.

if you check back through a few threads on this site there a more links to site for more specific industry related tests, ie the group bordon etc too
which is used by loads of Co's as part of driver selection, guard etc
i believe that these tests are used by some TOC's

the salaries, could be comparable to what Govia pay those ticket office & dispatch staff at their other TOC's, I reckon RJ is pretty close to being "on the money" (ahem) with his estimate..
eg dispatch at southern gets around £18K basic , according to a job being advertised on their site at the...

have to say my experiences have been ok, one north of the border, but a long time ago. was very quick,
& one down south, again less than a month.
