There's a queue as long as my arm for internal transfers to the Wigan depot, I doubt very much they need Trainees there. Advertising for internal trainees for Picc at the moment.

I met the Vic new starters on their induction Tuesday. 5 or 6 of them and only 2 were internal.

6 days is actually a long time by Northern standards, when I applied last year it was live for 36 hours.

Picc do, Vic don't as there are currently no EMUs operating out of Vic.

You can opt out of your booked Sundays if you wish and yes, there is a 5 day weekend every third week.

Simply, don't. Trying to ahead of the game by reading rule book modules will cause more trouble than it's worth. Enjoy your months peace and follow the course as it's written. The knowledge comes thick and fast so prepare yourself but most of all, enjoy it. Best of luck too all starting soon.

Yeah some do go to Picc but it is usually a much lower number compared to Vic. I personally think Vic need a break from further recruitment to let them catch up.
