Simply, don't. Trying to ahead of the game by reading rule book modules will cause more trouble than it's worth. Enjoy your months peace and follow the course as it's written. The knowledge comes thick and fast so prepare yourself but most of all, enjoy it.

Yeah some do go to Picc but it is usually a much lower number compared to Vic. I personally think Vic need a break from further recruitment to let them catch up.
