Usually along the Calder valley, it's a 158 - however, this is northern, so you could have a pacer or any of the sprinters

In an ideal world, yes However, due to the nature of the northern franchise money is tight and newer rolling stock usually means higher costs

Does anybody have an idea when the first 158 with the new seats in will return? Obviously priority is PRM compliance and most likely going to be ironing boards anyway, but just wondering.

Looking through the Blackpool north - Leeds timetable, they appear to have forgotten they are supposed to be stopping at mytholmroyd - it appears in the journey planner but is not in the timetable

I'm assuming 158757 is back in service, though haven't personally seen it, does that mean this is the second to last 3 car 158? And if so, will they be starting the 2 cars?

I haven't checked the unit numbers yet but just got on a pair of 2 car 158s that have the orange scrolling LED boards inside - does this mean the 158s will be done to 2 different standards? (Outsides not in new livery) (the half I was sat on was 158859)
