l already have done via social media, and LM are going to pass the message on. Several others on the train did as well.
I should add - I believe the person concerned jumped from the platform rather than the bridge, so my OP was factually incorrect.

Very sad this morning when the 0714 from Worcester Foregate Street which I had been on since Stourbridge, hit a person at Tyseley station causing a fatality. It appears someone jumped down from the bridge at Tyseley station into the path of the train.

I think Rotherham Central (probably many others) was a bad one on the departure board; from memory I think it had six screens that it ran through constantly.
I know it was almost certainly the same timing for each screen but to me it seemed like the next train information with the stations...
That was my point really; in my experience the general public do not take note or take any different action as a result of being told how many coaches the train has.
It is certainly redundant at Stourbridge Junction, but I will admit it is quite useful for the EMT and XC trains that I use...
The most pointless bit has to be saying how many coaches every train has. Utterly redundant and pointless to every passenger; it gets so irritating especially at Stourbridge Junction where for every train to the Town it says "this train is formed of 1 coach"...everyone knows...no-one cares...
