Screen hardware will be mounted a certain way up due to cable routing etc. The rotation of the display will be a simple config change in the software, they don't need to go and physically turn them around.
No service buses will go that close to the arena, as pedestrian footfall will be huge so it's safer to be a short walk away. It was a deliberate choice to site the station a little way away as well to allow space for crowds to disperse.
The need for level crossing upgrades was raised by Network Rail in their submission and then taken into consideration by the ORR. The ORR didn't directly come to that conclusion themselves.
The branch seems to be double track throughout with 3 platforms at the terminus.
If there is an issue that only one of the tunnels is open at the weekends then perhaps the solution is to make an exception for major event weekends.
