Screen hardware will be mounted a certain way up due to cable routing etc. The rotation of the display will be a simple config change in the software, they don't need to go and physically turn them around.

No service buses will go that close to the arena, as pedestrian footfall will be huge so it's safer to be a short walk away. It was a deliberate choice to site the station a little way away as well to allow space for crowds to disperse.

The branch seems to be double track throughout with 3 platforms at the terminus. If there is an issue that only one of the tunnels is open at the weekends then perhaps the solution is to make an exception for major event weekends.

I don't think there's any intention to do that because they would be too long for most platforms (745s are 12 coaches). 755/4 and 755/3 can operate together, and they can be using different power modes (one diesel, one electric) if necessary.

Their cousins over in East Anglia, the 755s, regularly operate 3 sets coupled in passenger service.

I was thinking the opposite when on one the other day - I think they are still holding up very well and are excellent trains. Yes there's a bit of wear but as mentioned above this should be sorted soon. The PIS, whilst it doesn't have full colour screens, is most definitely "digital" and works...

I'm there this weekend and there are a huge number of buses from far and wide. The bus that took us from Bicester P&R was from Brighton & Hove.

What don't you like about them? So far I'm finding them far superior to anything else in Bristol in terms of comfort & passenger information
