In recent weeks some of the ex LNER Mk4 Coaches withdrawn prior to the Dec 25 timetable change have been sent for scrap.
I have seen reports on Facebook groups of 6 x Mk4s from Worksop being disposed of.
Four of the coaches have been reported as Nos. 12406, 12424, 12432, 12485.
Is anyone able...
The pre-December timetable base, which had followed the same core structure since May 2011, had so many strengths and provided such a well-balanced (and generally reliable!) service, that any drop in frequency/capacity will not go unnoticed.
While I'm sure the December change better reflects...

Might be that later weeks follow suit in due course in line with STP timescales.
The 05.30 ex Doncaster, 1A01, is currently shown as unadvertised. Does anyone know the reasoning behind this?
21.33 ex King's Cross to Doncaster, 1D33, is displayed in a similar fashion so assume that it allows some flexibility on stock & crew balance changes between now & December.
Is anyone here familiar with the roster for drivers at King's Cross on completion of training?
Is there a chance of eventually working a fixed early or fixed late link, or will drivers normally work around the full roster with a mix of early, late & night shifts?
In Network Rail planning terms, do all additional time allowances fall under the three categories shown on Real Time Trains - Pathing, Performance & Engineering?
Pathing, Self explanatory.
Performance, As earlier post.
Engineering? Long Term TSRs or similar?
Anyone know whether Drivers at LNER strictly work a variety of shifts based on a rota, or are there arrangements within each Driver Depot to allow semi-regular shift patterns.
Appreciate the latter can't be guaranteed and might vary by Depot, but I wondered if working the rota in full is the...
There was an ECS move from Hornsey to Welwyn Garden City on Saturday night and a return on Sunday morning, Headcodes 5Q98 and 5Q99.
I can't confirm, but expect these may have been positioning moves to get the train in place for testing...
