Thanks All, In the end, as suggested on this thread, we took the underground to Embankment and walked to the theatre. This was a shorter walk than I thought it would be. We took the number 15 bus from Trafalgar Square for the return journey. :D:D:D Graham.

Thanks, I thought it might be something like that. I would expect that the TFL map would be the most accurate! Graham. Thanks, the bus might be a bit too slow getting there but I think that I might very well use it on the way back. I always seem to forget about buses in London! Graham.

Thanks All, Embankment it is then! Can someone please clear something up for me: On the Tfl Tube map only the Circle and District lines are showing as available at embankment. Other maps, BBC and Diagrams.org etc. show the Northern line and Bakerloo line available at Embankment as well...
