An additional opportunity to visit the Exhibition Room at Smethwick Rolfe Street station as it will be open today (21st September) between 10am and 3pm. The Galton Valley Pumping Station will be open too - it is a 5 minute walk from the station.

I have been told by a senior member of the Transport for West Midlands team that there has been no change to the validity of PlusBus tickets on the West Midlands Metro - they remain valid for use.

This Saturday (15th) between 10am and 4pm. Great chance to explore the history of this late Victorian station, and to walk to admire Telford's Galton Bridge and Engine Arm Aqueduct along with a visit to the nearby Galton Valley Pumping Station...

Thanks, it was good to show off the history of this Victorian Building. It is possible to visit the Exhibition Room on Saturday 14 October when the Galton Valley Pumping Station is open too. Simply ask at the Booking Office for the key between 8am and 5pm.
