Hi all, Thought I'd share this great podcast on the RailwayMania youtube channel featuring the guys from the 35011 General Steam Navigation project who are unrebuilding there Merchant Navy class locomotive.

I’ve passed out of the guards school earlier in the year and they are struggling to get enough courses fitted in for all there new guards they are hiring. Think they are running 13 courses this year each class filled of 12 trainees. Just be patient I’m sure you’ll get a date soon

Hello chaps, I’ve got a medical for a conductors position in a couple days and my worry is my squint/lazy eye will fail me. I started wearing glasses a couple of months ago to help with my Long-sightedness. Would this kill my application? Thanks

The oil issue was sorted on the smaller BB/WC class and with modern techniques the team can address many of the problems the MNs had. Should be an interesting project and hopefully one day we would be able line up 4 Bulleid Pacific in the differing conditions
