    CrossCountry XC Class 170 refurbishment

Looka like it was made with Train Sim World's livery designer in which case it was using the version of the 170 that is in the game

What are your first impressions of the new TGV-M.

If theres a traction problem you can just swap power cars rather than taking a whole set out of service. E.g. Eurostar power car 3999

TRIVIA: Loudest stations for Flange Squeal

Having worked at pancras for the last 6+ years the low level platforms can be terrible at times

Khan manifesto: Overground lines to be named - what would you call them?

Watford to Euston could be the Watson. Portmantou like the Bakerloo it parallels for a bit and would give us a Watson to Baker Streets Sherlock

    Additional ramps at Blackfriars

The smaller one is for the 700s. They're at all the core stations and are for when there is too much of a gap even with the humps that passengers aren't comfortable. Had to use them a few times at STP

Expanding HS1 - Steer Davis Gleave

Expanding HS1 - Steer Davis Gleave

I don't think anyone would actually expect all 18 to go on to HS1 I'm not sure what the exact timings are but Eurostar paths on HS1 are determined so that they arrive at the right time for their paths through the tunnel which is where the difficutlies lie

    Class 373 Eurostar withdrawals

IIRC izy dont hire that specific set they just hire A set. Eurostar intially used the one they branded izy but if that's unavailable eurostar have to provide something so apparently right now that means an e300

    St Pancras (Thameslink) at weekends

I agree, but EMR want it the way it is

    St Pancras (Thameslink) at weekends

Escalators: They're reversed on the weekends to avoid them bedding in. Before they were refurbed we were unable to reverse 6 of the 7 if we needed to The gatelines: reversing them with the escalators was the plan. IIRC the gate lines didnt like it and tended to crash so that got put on hold...

Best looking train: Class 373 Eurostar Flirts arent bad though :)

    Network Rail managed stations

As it's technically a seperate station I'd say St Pancras Low-Level is the smallest
