    Battlefield line

I'm not too far from this line, certainly can be done as a day trip. Been on it a few times, I always enjoy the experience. It's definitely more "raw" than some but as far as I'm concerned it's better for that. A shame if it's having quiet periods as it is absolutely well worth a visit.

Perfect response. Everyone should follow suit if harangued by some self-appointed mask vigilante (or any other type of vigilante for that matter).

It was law but only in Wales.

    Would you take the vaccine?

Spot on. I won't rush, but not because I fear the safety of it. I won't rush because there are higher priority people than me. Also spot on. Sick of hearing that type of nonsense. See also 5G rubbish.

Anyone worried about fines from usybody railway staff should simply lie and tell them they are going to work. I'm no liar but this nonsense has turned me into one, I always make sure I have a story ready for any scenario. I'm not prepared to have my life dictated to by authoritarian bullies.

Go anyway. Do not allow wealthy government ministers with nothing to lose to destroy your life and family relationships. Be sensible about it and take all sensible precautions but go where you please, when you please and to Hell with the lot of them.

Yes I would when my ‘turn’ came.

Covid : Infection rates v death rates and a possible second wave

Personally I don't get hung up on them, but the government does. I fully expect more pointless, petty restrictions and fines as a result.

How would that prove a support bubble exists?

It rather depends. I'd probably report a burglary if I saw one actually in progress, for instance. I wouldn't report my neighbour for having seven people in his garden. I guess there's a line somewhere in between those extremes, but I couldn't tell you where it is.

England & Wales Tracing App to be released Sept 24th

Indeed. The public not understanding this - ok, up to a point. They may not have the knowledge to do so. The media not understanding it and even misreporting it - completely unacceptable.

My view is that "snitching" is not on, full stop. Even if I happen to agree with the reasons for the law believed to have been transgressed. I don;t want the country turned into a nation of snitchers. So, I firmly believe shops and businesses SHOULD point out there are exemptions but I'm not...

Covid : Infection rates v death rates and a possible second wave

All you ever get if you highlight any of this to people is "better than dying on a ventilator though hun".

    Supermarkets and Covid-19

I carry my own hand sanitiser and will only use that as a lot of the cheap ones used at doorways etc I am allergic to I also won't be treated like a schoolchild and let someone watch me do it. They either take my word for it or I'll go elsewhere.

Further Restrictions Announced by Johnson (22/09)

Thing is, until a few weeks ago, we only had reporting lag on deaths, not cases. Seems a bit of a coincidence if we are now going to suddenly get big jumps on Tuesdays. Where's that come from? I knwo Scotland's had a 'record number of cases' today, apparently, so I've no doubt we will see some...
