Would be nice admittedly (living on the Western edge of the route), but think it would need a shake up of routes along Calder Road, quite a lot of 3/25/33 bunching at the minute (and that’s before they closed Princes Street).

Most probably full route Stirling to Euston.

Looking into doing this service soon. How busy is it? Is it still relatively quiet or are the trains pretty full now?

I wonder what the likelihood of infrastructure issues are in the North. Scotland got what seemed like a pretty intense thunderstorm tonight (spreading all the way from Ayrshire over to East Lothian). Some fork lightning seen from my window too.

I wonder, with all the new developments going on at West Craigs would there be scope for running a Nightbus through to this area? I know the 100 stops nearby but for most people it’ll be quite a walk. There seems to be quite a lot there, so surely a Nightbus might be feasible?

Seems quite good that they've provided a fair chunk of unreserved seating, bit better than the handful available on the East.

Is that a buffet counter visible at 1:26? I'm surprised it's still there since Lumo do a trolley service on the east (unless it's just going to lie dormant). Although, if it is a Buffet it'll be much welcomed as sometimes on Lumo (East) you wait quite a while for the trolley to appear.

It was just rather odd to me as XC rarely used Polmadie when they ran more regular services to/from Glasgow, instead just bringing things to/from Craigentinny. Having had a look, it seems to be from the timetable change onwards (starting on Monday 18th), CrossCountry look to regularly stabling...

Hi, have noticed the last few occasions when passing by Polmadie Depot there’s been a CrossCountry Voyager stabled in the sidings where Lumo usually park their 222s. Does anyone know why it’s there as I’m sure XC don’t normally use Polmadie to stable sets. Couldn’t get a set number either...

According to TransPennine Express JourneyCheck, it seems as if the problem is going to continue all day today (15/02). Services split into a Carlisle - Glasgow/Edinburgh Shuttle and a Preston - Lancaster/Oxenholme Shuttle. Avanti have binned everything North of Preston it seems.

There seems to be so much war rhetoric recently, especially from military chiefs across Europe. Scaremongering or a warning that something is brewing? Even the mentions of conscription are starting to worry me too.

Just passed BZL 784e on a Heriot Watt bound 25 in Gorgie, presumably covering for an MMC?

I tend to get the 3 or 33 as they are usually a bit more quiet, but from observation just by being on these buses they always catch up to a 25 or something else. There are so many buses with enough seats for everyone, but they all end up just bunching.

This most probably is unlikely to ever happen but is there a possibility of making the buses along Calder Road a little bit more spaced out? It’s not uncommon to get a 3, 25 and 33 (sometimes with a 34,35 or X27/28 in the mix) within a few minutes then nothing for at least another 10+...
