An obvious improvement IMO would be to run the Ripon-Northallerton service direct to Thirsk via the A61 and have a separate Ripon-Thirsk service via the existing route. NYCC, now NYC, have sat on monies to provide a peak am service to Ripon for years which splitting off the Ripon-Thirsk section...

When it has been previously diverted due to road works it has followed the 3 route outbound to the A59 and turning off the A59 earlier to follow largely the inbound 3 route i.e. then direct along Jennyfield Drive.

A simple improvement will be sensible timetabling rather than either ignoring congestion or overly padding out the timetable

How it not true when route through Follifoot then had to be funded by the public purse? If Connexions were not duplicating Transdevs service no doubt the latter would not have been reduced.
