Please can someone tell me what was on a couple of trains yesterday, Wednesday June 8th? The first is the Rylstone Tilcon - Small Heath GBRF train that passed through Shipley at around 14:00 (was it 6D72), and the second passed through Leeds at around 13:30 heading west pulled by a DBS (EWS)...

I shall be in Northern Rail territory, Leeds and York, on Wednesday and I need 153316 to complete the set. Can anyone tell me where it might be working on that day? I know that unit allocations can be changed at the last minute almost but any information would be welcome. thanks, Stuart

It's a mixed blessing seeing the last of a class. While ever you need something you have an excuse to go somewhere in the hope of seeing it and it keeps the interest going. Once you have seen the last one then it becomes more difficult to justify the visit. I can remember visiting Clapham...

Thanks for the info. I have a day out planned for the 9th July - so I don't need to go to Newport! Perhaps I'll go for the LM Class 350 3xxxs!

Is there any news about the latest batch of 66s? I believe they are due in to Newport Docks anytime soon. Can anyone confirm that - and possibly when they will be moved from there. Will they go for testing before release into service?
