Leeds to Morecambe: Bikes on trains

Thanks folks. They want to set off on an early train on Saturday morning, probably about 7am. Looks like it shouldn't be a problem

Leeds to Morecambe: Bikes on trains

A friend of mine wants to go with 3 friends, all with their bikes, from Leeds to Morecambe and then cycle home. I have something in my mind saying that only 2 cycles are allowed per train, especially on the Northern train that they will be on. 1. Is this correct? and 2. If so how could...

Freightliner trainee driver positions ('Graduate scheme')

I put no on the relocation. But I know I wouldn't have got it as I answered the questions in about 2 mins. Thought there must have been more on the second page having 15mins then was going to check back through. I knew I made a mistake on one but thought I'd go back after answering the second...

Freightliner trainee driver positions ('Graduate scheme')

It's not a case of them being vital, I've researched a lot into driving for passenger trains and the shifts fit in perfectly for my lifestyle. But if there's nights and a majority of weekends then I would have to pass this time. Likewise, if it's only a 50-50 split then that would be fine, you...

Freightliner trainee driver positions ('Graduate scheme')

I can see what you're saying, but if it's most evenings and weekends I'm at work that's when my children aren't at school. So I'd have time off when they're at school, and I'd be working when they're free. It's also not really fair on my wife having to constantly looking after them. If it was...

Freightliner trainee driver positions ('Graduate scheme')

If anyone knows this answer that would be really helpful. I don't mind working some evenings/nights and weekends, but if it's mainly those times I'd have to pass with having a young family and not seeing the kids. Cheers

    Leeds trainee driver vacancies

It was only up for a day. Didn't get sent out on the alert. Was a Sunday too. Luckily for me I started filling in the application in straight away. The next day I was out enjoying the sun with the family and they emailed saying it was closing at midnight, but of a rush to do it tbh

    Leeds trainee driver vacancies

Not heard back either way yet. Is this normal? Or do they maybe interview some and see if they're suitable and work their way down the list so to speak?
