Doesn't Wimbledon have LU staff, there's a customer assistance counter near the platforms and the drivers seem to also take a break there. The gatelines are SWR staffed though. I don't think there's any TfL staff for the tram side of things apart from the drivers.
What happens if I board at a station with open barriers and then when revenue scan a ticket purchased from this site it doesn't work and I get an MG11 written up and prosecution?
At least with gig tickets the worse that happens is you're not able to get into the venue.
The 20:33 Kings Cross to Leeds is always packed with Stevenage passengers, many of whom happily take reserved seats that are for longer distance travellers. I've got the no seat guarantee refund many times on that service so I think this is a perfect one to not be setting down at Stevenage...
Out of interest, what are these discounted tickets they claim to sell? Is TrainPal paying for them and effectively subsidising them for the end user or do they just not exist?
I don't think that the District Line on the Wimbledon branch has actually had a day without an issue since the strikes. It seems every day someone's fixing a signal fault at Southfields, East Putney or Parsons Green.
Hi everyone,
Just to point out that there is still planned Strike Action on Sunday 7th September for London Underground:
https://tfl.gov.uk/campaign/strikes#on-this-page-0
So from St Pancras to Victoria it would need to be a bus or a taxi. Of course, there is a chance the strike will be...
It was chaos, I was told the station was closed and ended up in a taxi back to Nottingham. However other people I know were able to get in and get the train. The poor security person I spoke to said she was getting told loads of conflicting information.
Thanks @yorkie , sorry for not searching the forum. I remember seeing something about the GTR brands before so thanks for pointing those out.
Also thanks everyone for the information about restrictions and times.
Hi everyone,
I'm travelling from East Croydon to Brighton and hold a Super Off Peak Day return.
I've just had a look and the tickets say they are valid on Thameslink trains only.
I looked at the restrictions (FB) beforehand and there was no mention of this.
Can these tickets not be used on...
Thanks everyone, I have E-Mailed LNER - I did try the delay repay but it showed as being scanned on EMR so it was rejected.
I still arrived over an hour late to Nottingham, even though EMR was on time I had to wait for the next service. The Delay Repay system confirmed the connection would have...
Yes I was looking on realtime trains. I didn't catch the LNER in the end as I didn't want to miss the connection.
However I didn't know there was a later one at 22:18 (however this would have also been missed after reviewing Realtimetrains). I always thought the last one was at 21.53...
Thanks everyone. I paid an excesss to transfer to EMR in the end. I appreciate the idea of a taxi but I have visions of turning up and there being nobody around. EMR said I can probably still get compensation from LNER so hopefully that'll cover the Excess
Hello, I was wondering if you could help.
I have a Super Off Peak Single from Kings Cross via Grantham to Nottingham however due to an unfortunate incident on LNER earlier my 20:33 is delayed and I'll miss my connection from Grantham to Nottingham (it's the last service).
EMR want £75 and LNER...
Hi everyone,
I'm travelling with LNER later today and have a Super Off Peak ticket which I always thought was fine to be used on any train. I've just checked my ticket to make sure it is Super Off Peak and noticed that the reservation section states "Itinerary - Mandatory Reservations 04...
