A few years back I arrived in London Waterloo well after 19:00 and still made the 19:30 Preston from Euston, but no booking site would show the journey.

Would some of them serves motorway services as I seem to recall for a route to be registered as a local service bus stops must not be more the so far apart.

I have used the service to get from Doncaster to Halifax a few times on a Saturday and there is always seems quite a few going past Doncaster and there always seems good numbers getting off at each stop.

Like i said it a Stockport Kidsgrove off peak ticker costing £14:80 catching the 18:23 from Kidsgrove to Stoke and then the 18:44 to Stockport.

It will take time and may not be easy to Rota but new starters should have it in their contracts that it is 4 days out of 7.

I use the service on a regular basis and there always seems to be people on there coming from Preston/Blackpool going to York, even through the majority get off in Leeds. The bigger issue is at times it either needs longer trains of a 2nd one per hour.

Operated by Transdev Blackburn route 4 to Leyburn Road has seen its Sunday service introduced after many years without one. Also Blackburn routes 6&7 have seen the evening Sunday services brought back.
