Some chaps are on the roof having a look this morning. Yesterday there were a couple of what looked like portable pumps on there for a while.

I recently noticed that the fabric roof of the station had begun to sag in places and was collecting water. Well, heading through last night one of the sags had sprung a rather spectacular leak (and another one had this morning). Difficult to see but there's a thin stream of water gracefully...

Why can't one buy a ticket outbound from Manchester Central Zone to an eligible station? I get a day return from HTC into Manchester MCZ and use the tram from Piccadilly to get to my office close to Victoria (as permitted by the ticket). Occasionally I get a lift into work, but then I can't buy...

The frustrating thing for me is that I saw no communication about the frequency changes. I travel on the network every working day and I had no idea of the changes. I came back from a week off to be confused about why the Bury trams took so long to show up at Piccadilly. It was only coming here...

I took a tram from Victoria to Piccadilly this evening and the ride from Piccadilly Gardens to the undercroft was noticeably smoother and quieter than before.

It's a little misleading to say Piccadilly to Victoria is a nine minute connection. The journey may take nine, but you could have to wait twelve minutes for the next service.

Newbie question, what does plain-lining mean?

Worth pointing out that the bridge under the WCML at Crossley Road between Stockport and Manchester has a recurring flooding problem. Stockport council recently put up warning signs up that are triggered by any flooding. They're regularly ignored.
