Iv got my MMI coming up soon with GWR,
Can anyone give any tips or hints on how they prepared for it or how they practiced before?
Just want to give myself the best possible chance so when I come out of it I know iv put 100% in.

After passing your first stage opc assessments did anyone elses email at the bottom say that the second stage maybe delayed due to a change in business requirements?
If so did anyone then get an email shortly after or was it a while till you got your MMI date?

So it's basically a gamble and hope they will offer further dates when they come up.
Iv emailed recruitment but nothing back so didn't want to click the button until I was sure. Il just keep my fingers crossed

I'm abroad for two weeks and all the dates are within them weeks.

I was in a talent pool for a few months and the job got re advertised whilst I was waiting.
Emailed recruitment and asked they said the previous selection didn't fill the quota so they needed more people. Got the call up a few months later to say I had been selected. Some are in for ages others...

Iv just left being a bus driver for this career so I'm looking forward to the challenge that will come with the role.
I'm still relatively young ( feel alot older haha ) but hoping this job will take be quite some way to retirement.

As a new starter in Feb as a conductor reading theses comments does get me a little worried about how safe the job it.
Iv waiting since 2019 from applying to getting a start date and now reading theses and also watching and reading the links does make me think what lies ahead for the role...

When you say 3 conductor links I take that means 3 different rotas? And early a mixed and a late.
I assume you have to put your name down to get onto them or you start off on the mixed one and go from there?
Is anyone a guard for Gwr on this thread? Whats your opinion on the rotas?
