I think that a employer cannot give a bad reference, I think they have to refuse to give a reference for that person

Would be really interested in this, however does it still count as "2 shots and your out"? Basically what I mean is - say you fail - do you only have one more chance should you take it as part of your training should you get offered a postion if one came up?

I have joined the Wensleydale railway because its near where I live, and (as someone has pointed out before) it offers a scenic route (although I’m yet to actually ride the route.) I really enjoy it, there are some really friendly people and I am beginning to learn new skills.

No one has specfically given any reason why DRS is a bad company. Give me a company in any industry that can please 100% of its employess, and as for not getting perks - you have got a job as a train driver, is that not good enough?! If not give it to me Ill have it.

I think that its a shame, that something that was, and could have been - the envy of the world was starved of cash, and then disposed of by the conservative goverment and is now in a effect a wasteful resource in itself run for the pleasure of the greedy foriegn fat cats that profit in it.

Yes you can log in and everything, however when moving from one step, to another when filling out the application form it basically takes ages, and then you get "there has been a error" page - It took about 3 times but my application is submitted.

Yes, Applications sent - only there is some trouble with the NR website /my internet connection at the moment took me a couple of attempts after getting "there has been a error" message

Ive missed my calling in life, I wish I had persued this 10 years ago I cant tell you how much I want to work in the industry - Hell I would even work for free if need be!!! I have applied for a couple of jobs at NR - but im so desperate to get into the industry - I just wish someone would...
