I assume that it's a typo for £3.15.
However, your son need not know this. Regardless of how this is resolved in fact, you can take the incorrect amount out his allowance, and also out of any inheritance he's due from your estate UNLESS and UNTIL he works it off by performing chores around the...
Criminals and greedy people are often exploited by other criminals higher up the food chain. Therefore, why should fare evaders be different. On the face of it, and remember we only have one side here, this certainly appears dodgy.
However, applying Hanlon's razor, could this just be sloppy...
If you're in the Dumbarton West (that's Dalreoch btw) area, make sure you pop along to The Waverley (Drew Busby's old pub) for a post prandial libation.
I'm not, personally, aware of any examples involving GA, but I am aware of plenty involving other train operating companies - especially GWR. Normally, these occur after the six month period for actively pursuing a criminal case has elapsed.
Could GA pursue this through the civil court route where the onus of proof is based on the much lower "balance of probabilities"? Who else but the OP was using his account?

Any worthwhile pubs (with or without food options) near the stops?
TIA.
There is currently an active thread regarding a passenger who inadvertently failed to pick up his tickets prior to boarding.
Some TOCs allow on train pick up, others don't.
Should those that don't, often because they wish to discourage on train pick up, offer it but with an on train...
AIUI, it's the civil service, in the guise of Transport Scotland, and not ScotRail that are behind this policy. I've heard through the grapevine that the £10 is to increase to £25, then £50, and finally £100 within a few years.
You could apply for a sub postmasters's licence after your purchase of the station house. Paint one half in Scottish Region light blue, & the other in Royal Mail red.
My understanding was that it (Altnabreac Station) was required purely for operational reasons. It being a suitable location for passing & watering.
Although, AFAIUI, it was never a private station and open to all. Most of the other buildings in the area followed the railway such as the post...
