Yes points are given if your journeys are on a Virgin Train along the West Coast Mainline (whether for the whole journey or just part of it), as per the Nectar T&Cs in

So I guess not in my case, as I live in the Great Western Main Line...

It says: Online Purchase from Virgin Trains - 2.02%
Can I assume that I get cashback on all tickets bought on the site, even if it's a non-VT route?
Are SWT still doing the 6 free weekend tickets if you buy an annual on any SWT route? It would work out cheaper (an extra £12 for 6 free travel days) especially if you live around the SWT network.
Although I've read that some people got them, some didn't, and some had to chase SWT for their...
Yea shocker. I've read threads about staff not selling them as you aren't buying from one of the two stations mentioned. I've also read a thread where they accused the commuter of cheating the system.

To be frank I don't know how their PC...
I see. Well then, I'll try another counter tomorrow.
Hmm no not really. I told her upfront that I planned to get a Gold Card using the route. She searched it on her PC, then showed the screen to me. She said it won't produce the Gold Card if ever I'd confirmed my purchase, which left me...
The Secret of NIMH, an animated film in the 80s... quite had a dark tone into it, dealing with death, greed, and human instinct (survival of the fittest), etc. 8/10
I can see contactless working in parts of the Great Western Main Line especially as Crossrail's opening soon up to Reading.
The only issue is if you have a railcard, there should be a system wherein you can store your railcard in your contactless card / Apple Pay.

Obviously I showed her the latest Gold Card area...

Hull Trains pay quickly on Topcashback, unlike First Transpennine, which takes forever (up to 6 months last time I've checked).
how likely do you think I have a working case? I understand that I'm not entitled to anything, but trying to respond back wouldn't hurt. I just need to learn how to appeal to their better nature as you've mentioned.
How did you manage to appeal yours?
1. Cost of fares: Expensive and complicated, large gap between cheapest and most expensive
2. Overcrowding: Clearly with more people opting for the trains, the network is at its capacity.
3. Weather prone: Wrong type of leaf? Wrong type of ice? Whole system grinds to a halt.
4. Growth (or...
As per the MSE website on train delays (http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/train-delays), OHLE do indeed fall WITHIN the train company's control.
They then blamed it on the bad weather just so they won't pay up :-x
Hello
Asking for any advice whether what my next steps would be for this...
Delay happened on 6 Feb. Sent compensation form + letter to GWR on 8 Feb. Got the response from GWR 13 Feb, rejecting the compensation.
More info can be found on the letter I sent. I'll attach them here as well...
