So if I was to go to Feltham from Burnham via Reading - I could break the journey at Reading on the Travelcard and carry on later - subject to "discussions" or would the barrier let me through?
Saying that do these barriers know which routes are valid for a given...
Thanks for the replies.
So does this mean I can also do Burnham-Slough-Windsor and the return - on the travel card without going into London?
Soil - about traveling via Reading does this mean I could do Burnham-Reading-Waterloo? But not Burnham - Reading only?
Slightly off topic but on lights - why do XC Voyagers have one of their 'head lights' at full beam in day light when comming into the station - I've seen this especially at Birmingham New Street quite a lot?
Is this the case across the network, where if your journey with a season ticket involves two or more operators its up to the flow owner to decide on any renewal discount?
At the moment getting out of the station takes longer than before as the exits on the 'a' end of the platforms are no longer available and also the way some trains stop in the morning on the platform the new 'b' exist does get way too crowded making everything slow and cramped - they should have...
An average user would think that if there was a problem with the XC leg you would complain to XC and FGW if it was on their leg, but would not know who prices the flow - surely both companies get a cut from the season ticket fare or is it only XC who pocket the whole lot?
Thanks for clarifying.

Looks like with these its not about making shed loads as profits - but individuals (others) in between pocking huge amounts - like the bankers - the banks went kaput while the bankers champaged away.
There was a delay yesterday morning between New Street and International and according to the National Rail website it was due to a plastic bag on the wires!
On a side note it seems at least every few days there is some sort of delay between Watford Jct - Milton Keys - Rugby - is there...
I recently renewed my season ticked from Slough to Birmingham - however I did not get discount - when I queried this it appears that as this route is priced by CrossCountry I don't get a discount, which I don't understand?
As this route is via Oxford - I usually do Slough to Reading (FGW) and...
I have been more than 200 miles a day daily commute for a while and most of it on a 220 or if lucky a 221 with more space for everyone; the infrastructure is there to make this possible it just that it needs to be improved to make it more reliable and extra capacity so at least people can get on...
It sure was confusing when it said delays in Maidenhead when trains were running from Slough; does anyone know what the likelyhood of a normal timetable tomorrow?
