Why does this route not serve Manchester Victoria station directly?
Drivers seem as frustrated as passengers with the situation. Dispute with taxi operators?
I don't mind being on CCTV, that's fine.
I object to being on CCTV and displayed on a loop on a screen in a train carriage to everyone else whilst i'm just trying to mind my own business.
It's horrible. I get it in pubs where there is often a clearly visible screen near the bar cycling through the CCTV feeds but if you're sat on a train for a 3 hour journey trying to mind your own business; no need for you to be shown on a screen every 30s.
Thanks for the replies.
This just hadn't occurred to me as an option, and we'll be on the right side of Macclesfield for that too. Taxi ~£20 so when the time comes that's what we'll do...
Cheers
Is this is a permitted route? 1 change, CrossCountry > Avanti
I'm not getting anywhere with journey planners, insisting on routing via Kidsgrove and Crewe.
NRE brings up the result based on timing but with no tickets available.
Cheers!
I'm sure many of us on here remember being a kid in the 70's and 80's and school was open if the heating worked and the caretaker could clear a path from the road to a way in!
Can anyone figure it out?
Image shows a cockpit view of an aerial survey helicopter on railway ops, a section of track can be seen on a screen on the operator's console;
