That's correct, just a standard ticket check by several inspectors in the foyer of the station. I'll try ringing and see what they say but will go ahead and pay the fine

The inspection was within the station foyer. I'll try ringing up and explaining the situation and explaining about the bank statement. Thanks for the responses though, it seems like the stress of the court out weighs the fine so I will just pay that.
