    Find out which TOC/FOCs are local to you (if you'd rather not relocate) and bookmark their careers pages. Then just check them daily (I always checked twice daily) for trainee vacancies. The one's I've applied to in the past have always been up a day or so, so hopefully you shouldn't miss them...
