Thanks for that, I wonder why address is required, just seems like a time waste.

Brighton will have high commuter numbers, I don't know about the other stations mentioned.

I don't think this is all the niche, it applies to anyone travelling cross London, although I didn't realise it before the priv does not affect the issues.

To be fair I was only treated badly at Crewe once, and it is too long ago to be able to complain now. I thought about that but I feel unhappy lying about how I am going to pay, you are stating that you want to pay by cash and that is not true. A promise to pay is not available to Canterbury in...

I could but this restricts my return times as a ticket from Canterbury allows off peak return travel in the afternoon. This is something which needs solving, not working round.

It is far enough on a bus, or a walk which is more than I am capable of and depending on family health I may find I cannot travel so want to buy tickets on the day. I cannot get access to the ticketing site as I am ex underground and it has not been offered, I would love to be able to buy that way.

Sorry, ToD? This has not been offered. It would take me about 3 hours return to get to a ticket office.

    Good bus territory?

I would say good territory is a place like Canterbury, lots of places around 20 miles away where people want to visit and people want to visit Canterbury as well, so dropping off/picking up all the way rather than either picking up or dropping off on any single journey.

    Flixbus Discussion

Quite possible, I used to do Heathrow to Gatwick via Hampton court in the middle of the night, just to refresh my knowledge for when the M25 was blocked, came in very handy on occasions.

    National Express Coaches Discussion

Sensible really, otherwise the driver and internet could end up selling the same seats. It dosent matter on a train as people can stand.
