    Liverpool City Region-Bus Franchising

Apologies if it's been covered before, but why are Warrington running the 322 if it's part of the new Metro network? The fact that Warrington tickets won't be acceptable on the 322 could cause some confusion, assuming that they won't be running any buses in the Metro livery.

According to the Warringtons Own Buses website, the 22A continues to the end of October:- https://www.warringtonsownbuses.co.uk/service-change-notice-route-22-becomes-route-322

    Britain's Most Scenic Bus routes

We did this on a visit to the Isle of Man a couple of years ago. Sadly, while the weather was OK in Douglas and sunny in Ramsey, it was foggy as hell going over the mountain, so we didn't see a thing!!! Luckily we did the moutain railway a couple of days later and the weather was a bit more...

If a new Sunday service to Leighton is launched, a completely different number should be used if it's going to serve a different route. I seem to recall the cancelled 2020 Sunday service from Northwich to Crewe was going to be numbered 30.

    Suffix letters on their own

The 8A follows the same route as First's 8 from Hanley to Norton. From November, D&G will have a 93A and 93C in Congleton, but no 93.

    Bee Network Service/Route Discussion

Having looked this up, the proper route is via Bridge Street and left onto Academy Way and left up Academy Street to Buttermarket Street. The problem was this driver took a right turn into Academy Street and then onto Mersey Street.

    Bee Network Service/Route Discussion

Apologies, I though they still turned right out of the bus station round into Scotland Road and then down Buttermarket Street. I didn't realise they were going back down Legh Street and Bridge Street. They definitely don't miss out Irlam and Cadishead though!!!

    Bee Network Service/Route Discussion

My wife travelled from Warrington to the Trafford Centre on the 8.52 100 this morning, and ended up on quite a journey. The driver took the wrong route out of Warrington Interchange taking the old route through the town centre, and even managed to miss out Irlam and Cadishead first time...

They could do with making it clearer that the different services between the bus station and Leighton serve different routes - a casual look at the timetable for the 12/12A/13 and you might think they all go the same way. Add in a couple of timing points to give some indication on the different...

    Trivia: companies that share depots/outstations

Prior to deregulation, PMT had a couple of buses at Crosville's Crewe depot in addition to the Crosville buses at PMT's Newcastle depot. When PMT won contracts from Crosville in 1986 it put an end to both agreements with PMT opening their own depot in Lockitt Street in Crewe and Crosville using...

    D&G Buses

They could possibly run the bus via the old 44 route via the main road to Shavington although it could be a bit of a squeeze time wise. It also depends on whether the demand from Shavington was better than that from Fuller Dive and Whirlow Road.

Nice to see all the journeys running through Wistaston. Running direct via Middlewich Road made for a slightly quicker journey but with little to no chance of picking up any custom along the way. All they need to do know is actually let the good people of Wistaston know there's bus running.

    D&G Buses

Yeah, the 38 did run via the Marshfield estate to Nantwich up to 2018 as per the current 85. Just like the 5, 8 and 12 (or 12E), they were all supported by Cheshire East, the only time any journeys were run commercially on a Sunday was after the 2018 review. Pretty sure there was a very limited...

As far as I know, the 103 Crewe to Hanley is fully commercial, so is probably the only commercial service on a Sunday.

Areas with no Sunday bus provision

Still in Cheshire, Northwich, Winsford and Middlewich still have nothing on a Sunday.
